During a recent chat with few of the Kenfuse portal members, there were suggestions on improving the navigation around the site. One of the suggestions was to reduce the steps it takes to navigate to projects a particular user is associated with. Right now the typical step is to navigate to 'My Account' at any point (this is also the default page upon login) and the click on the project group from there.
To reduce the steps further, thinking of a small Ajax block in some corner of the page, with links to recent posts and groups that the user is associated with. What do the members think? Any other alternatives?
Of course if there are other areas that can be improved, I would welcome thoughts on the same as well.
