The current TinyMCE option with IMCE provides a way to upload images by browsing the local file system and then uploading the image and then linking the same within the content. This is time consuming and not very usable when there are lots of such images that can form part of the course module.
One therefore needs to have a mechanism much like desktop editing tools where one is able to copy and paste an image or insert from the file system in 2 steps. Check the experience with MS Word.
